1. Mandatory Role Enforcement

  1. Assignment Types define which roles are mandatory. 
  2. The Maker role is mandatory for all assignments. 
  3. Checker, Approver, and EQCR can be configured as mandatory or optional based on the assignment type. 
  4. The system validates that all required roles are assigned before an assignment can be saved. 
  5. For example, if Maker and Checker are configured as mandatory for the GSTR-9 assignment type, then while planning a GSTR-9 assignment for any client, the system will require only these roles to be assigned.  

In the above example, for the assignment type GSTR-3B, only the Checker role is configured as mandatory, whereas the Approver and EQCR roles are optional.

Hence other roles such as Approver can still be added, but they are optional since they were not configured as mandatory for that assignment type.
