Document Request Dashboard
Document request is a feature that automates the collection of audit documentation through AssureAI. Users can raise and track Document requests for all assignments, such as Annual Audits, GSTR3B, ETDS assignments, etc.
This feature may be used to obtain all the recurring audit documentation, such as Bank Statements, Reconciliations, Statutory due evidence, confirmations, etc.
Raise a Document request.
1. These options will be populated Once the ‘Raise Doc Request’ button is clicked. The user can raise a doc request under any of these five categories
2. For Bank Statements and PF/ESI Challans, the Doc Request module will automatically populate the ledgers/transactions grouped under those heads as shown in the screenshot below.
The link ‘Raise Doc Request’ is found at the bottom of the assignment dashboard screen and on the screen for a few other features:
- Ledger Scrutiny/ Voucher Scrutiny
- Voucher Verification
- Expense Variance Report
Only Firm users can raise document requests to clients when clarification or additional information is needed. Client users can view and respond to these document requests, but cannot initiate them.
- The summary table displays the total number of document requests raised for the client.
- The detailed table below provides a breakdown of all requests by request type and includes the status of each request.
- An Edit button is available for each row, allowing Firm users to modify the request and view comments logged by the client.
- The requests can be responded to by the client by attaching the required documents, and can be submitted to the auditor.
- The auditor can approve/send back the doc request.
For document requests where the is a difference between the actual ledger balance and the balance as per records, the system highlights to users to upload 2 documents : (1) the bank statement (2) Reconciliation statement.
Only when both the documents are uploaded the request can be submtted. If only 1 is uploaed the request cannot be submitted.
