AssureAI Release Note- Annual Audit Enhancements Phase2 - Patch Fix 3

1. Statement Generation - Option to select Fixed Asset schedule layout: 

ICAI has introduced a vertical format for the Fixed Asset schedule for Non-corporate. Now with options available as both Horizontal and vertical formats, an option to choose the format has been introduced for the clients.

2. Error in generating Financial statements with Comments and Disclosures – Due to a missing note number 

In two specific scenarios, a note with a blank Note number was appearing in the Financials.  

1. When the total closing balance for a line item was zero on the face of Balance sheet / P&L – but there were child items with valid closing balances. 
2. When there is a subhead configured, whose name is identical to that of its parent head  E.g. “Other current Liabilities” under “Other current Liabilities” 

Due to this, whenever the user tried to generate the financials including Comments and Disclosures (Specifically, Accounting standards, Schedule 3 and Other disclosures), an error was thrown. 

This has been fixed. 

3. Data Validation Full Screen View : 

When user rejects data validation multiple times and the table has many updates, there was scroll bar in the version list, due to space limitation, which made it less readable. An "Open full screen" button has been added for the user to view the entire page without scrolling.

4. Voucher Entry - Total Debit Vs Total Credit validation 

Previously, the system accepted voucher entries with more than two decimal places, sometimes leading to a difference of up to 0.01 paisa, which would result in total debits not matching total credits during validation. A new validation has now been introduced:

1. The system will only accept voucher entries where the total debit equals the total credit, both rounded to the nearest paisa. 
2. If there is any mismatch, an error message will be displayed.  

5. Comments & Disclosures Module  

Users were able to add new sections with the same name - A new validation has been added to ensure duplicate sections cannot be added  In some specific scenarios, there were two templates selected under the same section – this has been fixed.
