AssureAI – Release Note

Welcome to the December 2023 (Version 23.12.1) release of AssureAI, released on 10-Dec-2023. Here are the updates included in this release:

1. New feature
1.1 Automation of Tangible and Intangible assets computation

Upon clicking “Tangible and Intangible assets” under “Statement generation”, the page opens up as seen below

Upon clicking the button, 
The system automatically populates the “addition”, “deletion”, “depreciation for the year” figures foreach subhead, based on the books imported. 

Opening cost and Opening depreciation can be populated from the previous year’s closing figures (if previous year data is loaded in AssureAI).
In case of any mismatches between the calculated WDV and the closing balance, the respective row will be highlighted. User can correct the mismatch manually and save.
User can drill down further by clicking on the subhead names

2. Enhancements / Bug fixes

2.1 Preliminary Tasks
 

2.1.1 Additional error scenarios handled in Trial Balance excel import. The scenarios that were not resulting in error files being generated have now been handled such that user friendly errors are shown in the excel against each row.

2.2 Statement generation
 

2.2.1 Unfinalize without clicking “Show final report” Any finalized statement can now be unfinalized directly without clicking “Show final report”. 

2.2.2 Inclusion of DIN in statement signature area for LLPs. The final statement for LLPs/ Firms will now include the DIN of key person, if entered.  
 

2.2.3 Ability to drill down to ledger view from consolidated statement. From the consolidated statement > Details page, you can now click on a ledger from any branch to navigate to its ledger view
 

2.2.4 Revised schedule III ratios – Variance computation
 

1. Fixed the error in computation of variance if the previous year ratio is negative and current year is positive – if either of the ratios had been manually edited

2. Variance was appearing with three decimal places in a few cases – fixed
 

2.2.5 Others

1. Email alert when books are uploaded by the client – will now be received only by the maker, checker, approver, their supervisors and administrator

2. Client creation – Duplicate PAN validation has been removed. One can now create multiple clients with the same PAN

2.3 Configuration
Mapping rule configuration – Updated to show only 20 rows at-a-time to prevent the system from hanging when a large number of rows are present on screen.
