Configure Add-on Features

The Stepper for every Assignment type has add-on features for Workpaper defaults, attachments, and Comments.

Workpaper Defaults

The Workpaper Defaults feature in AssureAI enables users to control Workpaper (WP) generation based on task types. This ensures that only the chosen task type is available for WP generation.
Task Type Listing

  1. The system displays all available task types configured in AssureAI.
  2. Each task type indicates whether it is included or excluded by default for Workpaper generation.
  3. If a task type is marked as included by default, its Workpaper will be generated with standard sections enabled.

For each task type, users can configure the applicability of individual Workpaper sections.

Sections include : Task Level Attachments , Status History , Workflow History , Task Level Comments and Planned Vs Actual Dates.

Users select whether each section is applicable or not applicable for the chosen task type.

Based on these selections, the system includes or excludes the corresponding sections during Workpaper generation.

All configurations are applied at the task type level, ensuring consistency across all tasks created under the same task type.

Attachments

AssureAI allows attachments to be configured for all task types. Attachments can be marked as mandatory or optional, enabling teams to define documentation requirements clearly for each task type.

Attachments configured before the start of an assignment will automatically be listed and applicable to that assignment.

  • If additional attachments are configured after an assignment has already started, they will not be reflected in the ongoing assignment.
  • Such changes will apply only to future assignments created after the configuration update.

Client Access Control

Based on business requirements, access can be provided to clients to view attachments.

Client visibility settings can be controlled to ensure appropriate access and confidentiality.

Comments

Edit /Delete rights can assigned to the users at a task type level.
